Moodle
Tapped In
Wendy Quinones has been kind enough to offer to demonstrate
and talk about Moodle and also Tapped In.Moodle is an online web based environment for teachers and students
to communicate and collaborate. It includes ability to web publish, chat,
jooin threaded discussion boards, email and much more.Tapped In, also a web based environment that offer educators the ability to:
* Plan and conduct learning projects with colleagues and students.
* Participate in or lead topical discussion and groups.
* Manage and attend online courses offered by TPD providers.
* Mentor other educators.
* Try out new ideas in a safe, supportive environment.**Also we plan to make this our first meeting where you will have
the option to attend virtually via phone and internet.
More details on this later. Since this would be a trial run
it will be limited to 2-4 people who have a high speed connection
and feel comfortable already installing and configuring software
to allow this capability.
There may be some preliminary things for attendees to do before hand:
like create logon accounts for both Moodle and Tapped In.
