This report from English for New Bostonians (ENB) draws on survey responses from nearly 1,500 adult ESOL students in 39 programs in Metro Boston and throughout Massachusetts. The findings shed light on the current employment status of ESOL students and the types of jobs, industries, and businesses in which they work. Respondents were asked to discuss what they perceived as the needs among their co-workers for ESOL instruction. Their observations confirmed our understanding of the shortage of available classes for those who would benefit from them.
