Regional facilitated Advisor Sharing Groups are held bi-monthly, to provide advisors with the opportunity to share ideas, best practices, and resources with other advisors. Each meeting will focus on a specific topic, that is selected based on participant interest and need.
We'll take a look at the Indicators of Effective Advising to help us review how this year has been for you and your work in your programs. If the group so wishes, there are also various reports and videos we may explore, such as: elements of "Change Your Brain, Change Your Life" series, or a report on "Empowering Adults to Thrive at Work: Personal Success Skills for 21st Century Jobs" which members of the group have mentioned.
