The Volunteer Coordinators' Sharing Group is a way for staff working with volunteers to come together to share their best practices and be updated on the latest research on and practices in volunteer management.
This professional development activity/course is designed for:
- All ABE staff who work with, provide training for, and manage volunteers. All levels of experience are welcome.
During this group meeting, you will have the opportunity to meet with others who work with volunteers. There will be time to ask questions about carrying out job responsibilities and handling situations that arise with volunteers in your program. Updated research on volunteer management will be shared and discussed. Snow date is February 3, 2017.
As a follow-up to this event, there will be a 2-hour webinar on May 9, 2017. The topic of the webinar will be determined based on input from this group and the Volunteer Coordinators' Sharing Group that meets in Worcester in December 2016.
Parking in the TERC lot is only allowed on Fridays. All other days, people will need to take public transportation or deal with meters, which are only 2 hours on Mass Ave.
