Regional facilitated Advisor Sharing Groups are held bi-monthly, to provide advisors with the opportunity to share ideas, best practices, and resources with other advisors. Each meeting will focus on a specific topic, that is selected based on participant interest and need. Snow date: January 20, 2015. Please note the change in time (and day) from usual.
We will hold a marketplace of information, learning from the experiences and wisdom Central MA advisors have gained from roles they've had or continue to have, with opportunity to ask questions. For examples: we will be hearing from someone who worked in a crisis center and from another who currently also serves as a success coach at an area college. Consider your own situations and whether there might be aspects of knowledge and resources you'd like to share with others in the group.
We will also take a look at the Indicators of Effective Advising.
