Description

Part 2 of this content-based training, facilitated by ESOL content expert Laura Porter, focuses on applying what you learned in Part 1 about standards-based formative assessment to your own ESOL lessons. In this session, you will use a guiding process to create formative assessments that address both the College and Career Readiness Standards for Adult Education (CCRSAE) and your own lesson objectives. You are expected to bring a real lesson for which you would like to develop a formative assessment tool or process, and to report a month later on its implementation.

Part 1 is a prerequisite to attending Part 2. Part 1 will be held on February 8, 2018, and you must register for Part 1 separately by going to May 11, 2018 on the calendar and registering for Part !
