SABES SE is one of 5 regional professional development centers across the state of MA that provides training and technical assistance to Adult Basic Education programs funded by the Massachusetts Department of Education and their staff. Formalized training and individualized consultation is available throughout the year on a number of topics related to instructional, administrative and other program support roles including:
- Curriculum Development and Instruction
- Student Educational Progress and Goal Management
- Counseling/ADA
- Workforce Development
- Community Linkages
- Program Management
Consultants specializing in these areas deliver services either at the SABES SE center or on site at southeast area programs. The SABES SE Director also provides specialized assistance to program management in the planning and designing of professional development. Special activities and events that engage staff and students are also offered on a regular basis.
