The New Bedford Public Schools Adult Education program hosted the 2009 Adult Education Institute . This event took place over a two day period - on March 7 and 21, 2009 at New Bedford High School. This exciting and informative event brought over 40 southeast area practitioners together for a learning "lollapalooza!" The focus was on "transitions" - to college, to work, to community.

Gloria designed five articles of clothing that could be easily mixed and matched for the workplace.

Patty Thomas, an ESOL teacher in the New Bedford Public School's Adult Education program and founder of "Culture Park" presented an entertaining program on interviewing techniques.
