Where to Buy

When possible it's best to buy from a nearby store. Yes, you can get really good deals over the Internet, but if something goes wrong, you can have trouble returning it or getting it fixed.

For example, if the hard drive breaks and you call for help, very often no one from the online store will answer the phone. Or if you have a simple question about how something works, and you email them a question, sometimes they will not answer emails. Some internet stores don't even have a phone number you can use.

Do your research and price watching on the internet. Find out about different models and companies. Then when you find the kind of computer you want, find a real store near you that has it for the best price. Usually the real store won't be as cheap as the Internet store. But at a real store, at least, you can see how good their customer service is, and see if they offer classes on using your computer. Some stores even have free classes. Also then you will
have somewhere to go if you need to get it fixed.

on the internet.
