Francis O’Donnell is a Research Fellow at the Center for Educational Assessment at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. She coordinates the development and presentation of NRS assessment trainings, supports adult education practitioners in becoming certified to administer and use NRS assessments, and maintains the ACLS Test Help Blog. She is also a doctoral candidate in the Research in Educational Measurement and Psychometrics program at UMass, and is writing her dissertation about how different audiences interpret test results. Francis holds a Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) certificate and has fond memories of her time teaching ESOL.
