The Program Support PD Center digital literacy team is pleased to share the following information about a free, facilitated online course on technology adoption offered by the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE).

ISTE's SkillRise course focuses on how to use educational technology to advance adult learning and upskilling. Facilitated by adult basic skills experts from the field Jen Vanek from World Education and Jeff Goumas from CrowdED Learning, the course will walk you through a peer learning process of visioning, assessment, technology selection and implementation; and communications and networking. Both course facilitators are members of the LINCS Integrating Technology group, and Jen is the Director of the IDEAL Consortium.

The six-week course begins on November 4 and ends the week of December 15. It is designed to help your organization build capacity for effectively using edtech to support worker career mobility. You should expect to spend approximately three hours per week to read course materials and complete activities. If you’re interested in participating, please enroll at https://skillrise.org/resources and share this with anyone in your network who might find this course valuable.
