“This training really demonstrated how I can model the effective use of digital literacy within my program. Useful framework and practical, hands-on demonstration of tools!”  —Participant, November 2016 Session

Join us on Wednesday, April 26, 2017, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., at Quinsigamond Community College for The Tech Savvy Administrator.

Improving ABE students’ digital literacy is an important topic in the ABE field, especially because of WIOA. As the instructional leader, your responsibility is to ensure that effective and engaging student learning takes place in each and every classroom and that digital literacy is a critical element for making that happen. This professional development offering will help you develop a vision to seamlessly integrate digital literacy into your ABE program using an evidenced-base implementation framework.

Also, by modeling the use of technology with staff, you will demonstrate the leadership needed to take your program (staff and students) into the 21st century. Your leadership will show staff that the integration of digital literacy skills is an important part of your program’s culture and that it can be fun, efficient, and productive.

Registration is available at http://sabes.org/event/4571.

Note: In order to reach all directors, The Tech Savvy Administrator is only being offered in central MA.
