Overview

This Workshop is Day Two of the TABE CLAS-E Writing Training and it is for practitioners who want to be certified to Score the CLAS-E Writing Test.

To become certified to SCORE the expository writing component of the CLAS-E Writing test, you MUST ATTEND this training AND the TABE CLAS-E Consolidated Reading & Writing Administration Assessment Training (scheduled prior to this training on 1/11/16) AND complete the scoring certification test.  The scoring certification test will be due within 3 weeks after the training.

 

  

Description

    Learning Objectives

    Upon completion of this professional development activity/course, you will be able to:

  • 1. Explain the TABE CLAS-E Writing Rubrics and scoring rationale

    2. Accurately score the students’ expository writing using the TABE CLAS-E Writing Rubrics and other scoring materials.
Prerequisites

You MUST ATTEND the TABE CLAS-E Consolidated Reading & Writing Administration Assessment Training (scheduled prior to this training on 1/11/16) unless you are currently certified to administer the CLAS-E Writing test.  Post-training you are required to complete and pass the scoring certification test.
