Participants will attend one two hour face-to-face training to explore different techniques and apps they can integrate into their teaching. The apps will be focused on the areas of assessment, classroom management, organization, communication, creativity and content. Participants will be asked to develop a project or lesson plan to show how they are applying the skills into their teaching. The face-to-face session will also be followed up with a webinar to connect with the other participants to discuss what strategies are working, and any successes or struggles they are facing.
- Create a project that demonstrates how they have integrated one or two preferred apps from the training into their teaching, after one month of practice
- Explore several different IPad applications and create a class implementation plan for introducing and integrating IPads into their student's daily activities
- Create a lesson plan for their students on how to use an IPad to create a digital presentation in a content based topic
