Cydnee Sanders

Bio

Cydnee Sanders has an MA in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) from Hamline University.  Her capstone project was an Antiracist Praxis Study Circle, consisting of 10 hours of professional development on antiracist teaching practices.  She has also developed and delivered PD on translanguaging and culturally responsive and sustaining teaching.   As a person of color who has felt marginalized in many spaces, Cydnee is passionate about creating professional development that works towards equity and justice in the classroom so that learners’ cultural and linguistic identities are acknowledged and honored.

Bio

Joey Lehrman is an advocate for innovation in learning and teaching. He serves as a project manager for ISTE's SkillRise, a national non-profit dedicated to helping educators use technology to transform adult learning. As an experienced educator, speaker, and writer, Joey focuses on how to use technology to create more accessible, relevant, and effective educational opportunities for adult learners. In his primary role in the Adult Education Program at Delgado Community College, Joey helped to launch the first fully online adult education program in the state that led to the program receiving the 2019 COABE State Innovation of the Year award.
