This training is designed for individuals in ACLS funded programs who intend to become BEST Plus test administrators. BEST Plus is administered individually in a face-to-face oral interview designed to assess the English language proficiency of adult English language learners.
To participate you must have:
An English fluency level of SPL 9 or above
Experience and comfort interacting with nonnative English speakers
Basic comfort level with computers
Participants must arrive on time and attend the entire session.
This session is the 1st of 3 steps in becoming a Best Plus Administrator. To become a BEST Plus Administrator, participants will also need to review materials, practice test administration on at least 10 individuals, and complete an Activity.
