Emily Tomita is the ESOL Family Literacy Teacher and Technology Coordinator at the Intergenerational Literacy Program in Chelsea.  She has provided cultural competency trainings for the Early Childhood Education faculty at Granite State College/New Hampshire Technical Institute, as well as workshops on writing and working with low literacy learners at the annual MCAE Network Conference.  She has experience teaching adults in Japan and working with children in the Dominican Republic.  She received her MEd in International Educational Development from Boston University.
