I never imagined that my life would be full of a path of adventure after my graduation as a journalist. I started working in a distinguished newspaper in my country, Ecuador.
Later, when I was working in a magazine, I decided that I wanted to study overseas. So, God provided me with a scholarship to go to Brazil to the University of Sao Paulo.
Once I completed my Master’s degree in Brazil, I had the opportunity to travel to the United States of America where I studied and I worked as a preschool teacher, as a nanny, and ended up working with immigrants as an ESOL teacher.
It has been a great experience teaching English because I am an immigrant and I know what are the difficulties of living in a new country. It is a new beginning in everything. To learn and to achieve a new language is just part of that process. Also, I am so emotional when a student accomplishes his/her goals in learning. I always like to engage the student to continue to grow in a career, and I provide guidance to start. Finally, I like teaching because not only can I help with the language but with improving lives, too.
