During this 1.5-hour workshop, participants will learn Evidence-Based Reading Instruction (EBRI) strategies to help teach students how to read more fluently.

This professional development activity/course is designed for:
During this session, you will learn why it is important for your students to read fluently. We will explain the three components of reading fluency (accuracy, rate, and prosody) and the impact these have on reading. We will introduce EBRI strategies for teaching fluency, and we will cover the importance of teaching reading using explicit instruction. These strategies can be adapted for the different reading levels of your students and are appropriate for in-person and remote instruction.

MA participants who complete this PD event will receive 1.5 hours of PD credit in LACES.
