Description

Whether you already have a formal advising curriculum at your organization or you are in the planning stages, there are several things to consider in order to help your students reach their goals. Developing an advising curriculum that includes push-in visits for education and career planning, administrative procedures for tracking and recording goals, and effective strategies for communication can be invaluable for managing your advising caseload.

During these sessions, you will learn how two programs have approached building and implementing an advising curriculum, and be guided through a process to build or improve your own. Facilitators and peers will provide customized feedback on your advising curriculum action plan, and will support you in setting next steps, supported by (optional) accountability coaching.
