Joey Lehrman is an advocate for innovation in learning and teaching. He serves as a project manager for ISTE's SkillRise, a national non-profit dedicated to helping educators use technology to transform adult learning. As an experienced educator, speaker, and writer, Joey focuses on how to use technology to create more accessible, relevant, and effective educational opportunities for adult learners. In his primary role in the Adult Education Program at Delgado Community College, Joey helped to launch the first fully online adult education program in the state that led to the program receiving the 2019 COABE State Innovation of the Year award.

Lea Downing is a Project Manager for ISTE's SkillRise adult learning and workforce development initiative. She is also a veteran adult educator who helped build eLearn at Delgado Community College in New Orleans, LA, which is a fully-online adult education program for students that was recognized as the 2019 COABE State Innovation of the Year. She is a graduate of Sarah Lawrence College (B.A.) and the University of New Orleans (M.F.A.), is a Level 1 and Level 2 Google Certified Educator, and has over 15 years of experience in adult education.
