Janice Batista has been involved in the adult education field since the year 2000 and has taught thousands of students in ESOL, ABE, workplace, K-12, and higher education settings, including as adjunct faculty at Worcester State University and Roxbury Community College.  At the Framingham Adult ESL (FAESL) Program, she has been a teacher, advisor, curriculum specialist, and currently serves as Associate Director. Janice supports teachers through mentoring new FAESL staff, observing classes, coordinating the development of the program’s ESL, ELA, and Math curricula, and working with SABES to develop and deliver numerous workshops, provide program-based PD, coach teachers, and deliver NRS Assessment trainings.
