Introduction to Diagnostic Assessment of Reading - September (Self-Paced Modules)

Introduction to Diagnostic Assessment of Reading is an online self-paced short course for anyone who wants to learn more about these diagnostic assessments and why they are so important to evidence-based reading instruction (EBRI).  Practitioners who will administer these assessments should take the longer course, EBRI: Diagnostic Assessment of Reading - Administration.

Teaching Adult Learners with Language-Based Learning Disabilities: An Overview

In this session, learn about common language-based learning disabilities (LBLD—difficulties related to the understanding and use of spoken and written language, such as dyslexia), and about specific strategies to support adult learners with LBLD. This session is the first in a series offered by the SABES ELA, ESOL, and Math Curriculum and Instruction teams on teaching adult learners with learning disabilities.
