Beginning in January 2024, all adult education practitioners in Massachusetts are eligible for a no-cost membership to the Coalition on Adult Basic Education (COABE) through a state membership administered by the Program Support PD Center.
COABE provides advocacy, professional development, and communication services to promote adult education at the state and national level. COABE also organizes one of adult education's largest national conferences. Benefits of becoming a member include:
- Discounted registration for the COABE national conference and conference mini-grants
- Access to educator resources and professional development webinars
- Access to state and national advocacy tools
- Access to the student ambassador program
