Did you know that you can access professional development (PD) from SABES on your own schedule? The SABES Program Support PD Team offers a library of online, asynchronous courses that you can access anytime, anywhere. 

The SABES Program Support OnDemand Library covers a range of topics related to digital literacy and technology integration, with more topics added every year. Each course includes content – such as a video or a reading – as well as relevant resources, knowledge checks, and a discussion board for exchanging ideas with your colleagues. SABES staff are available to answer questions you might have about the course content or topic. See below for current course titles.

Enrolling in a SABES OnDemand Course:

1. Select the course link above to begin the enrollment process.
2. A new page with a course description and enrollment instructions will open. Scroll down until you see "To enroll in a SABES OnDemand course" instructions. 
3. If you are already logged into Canvas, simply select the green “Enroll in Course” button. If you are not logged into Canvas, enter your email address and select one of the following options –
   • Option 1: “I am a new user” if you do not already have a SABES Canvas account. Then, enter your name, or
   • Option 2: “I already have a SABES login” if you already have a SABES Canvas account (and are not logged in). You will be prompted to enter your password. If you do not remember your password, select this link to recover it. 
4. Select the green "Enroll in Course" button.

Please note:

1. You will register directly through the course link - not through the SABES Calendar. 
2. Courses typically take 60 to 90 minutes to complete. You will receive a certificate in Canvas and PD hours in LACES for each course that you complete.
