Description

You are invited to join ABE and ESOL advisors from across the South Shore Region of Massachusetts for a sharing and learning conversation. The focus of this meeting will be to learn about the services offered by the Adult Literacy Hotline and Ruby Reyes will be our guest speaker. We will also get a brief update on agenda items that were discussed at our last meeting from Kathy Folan at MassHire South Shore and continue our discussion on how we as advisors can better connect our students with local MassHire South Shore and prioritize shared customers under WIOA requirements. Then as always, there will be open conversation with the purpose of sharing and learning from advisors in the field regarding a wide range of advising tasks and challenges. Participants are encouraged to bring program and event flyers, advising lessons and materials, and any other resources you’d like to share with the group.
