In this 1.5 hour session held on Zoom, teachers learn how to transform existing face-to-face learner-centered ESOL lessons into online ones using the Zoom tele-conferencing platform.

Rather than starting from scratch and creating new online ESOL lessons, in this session teachers learn how to use various Zoom tools to adapt existing lessons to an online format. Presenters model and provide opportunities for participants to practice how to maintain a student-centered ESOL classroom online.
- Annotate existing lessons and transfer best practices to the Zoom classroom
- Identify ways to enhance your lessons by implementing breakout rooms for speaking and listening activities and collaborative tasks, Google drive for team reading and writing tasks, links to audio and video for extended practice, and saved notes and recordings for review, reflection, and assessment
