STAR Teachers: Hear and share ideas for how to successfully teach Vocabulary and Fluency in an online class.

This professional development activity/course is designed for:

  • STAR teachers and STAR teachers-in-training

This school year found all Massachusetts adult education programs unexpectedly immersed in STAR remote instruction, whether they were ready or not! In this 2 hour session, hear from the MA STAR Trainers and from two STAR teachers, Shannon Sullivan and Jennifer Townley, on how they adapted vocabulary and fluency strategies for remote instruction. Share your own experiences, challenges, and questions about teaching STAR remotely as you reflect on the past few months and think ahead to the next academic year.

Please note: You will receive an email from Joanne Harrington at Quinsigamond Community College with instructions on how to access the session.
