The shift to virtual instruction has come with many challenges—learning new digital tools, keeping students engaged, and shifting lessons that were planned to be delivered face to face. There’s no one right way to teach remotely, but hearing how one teacher is doing it will help you get closer to the best approach for you.

This session will showcase the learning curve that one teacher has experienced in adapting to remote teaching. Using concrete examples from her own teaching, she will speak candidly about a variety of digital tools she has used to cope with the challenges of transitioning to remote instruction, and explain why some resources and strategies have worked while others have not. There will be time to share your own questions and challenges and hear from your colleagues as well.
