Overview

Join the Massachusetts' Student Achievement in Reading (STAR) team to learn about the STAR reading reform initiative and get an overview of the upcoming SABES ELA STAR training. STAR is a proven way to assist programs in making the systematic and instructional changes required to improve the reading achievement of intermediate-level adult students, GLE 4-8.9. Implementing STAR complies with the WIOA requirement of integrating evidence-based reading instruction (EBRI) at the intermediate level. There will be a brief presentation about STAR/EBRI, and an opportunity to ask questions about the STAR reading program and upcoming training.
