Join this session to learn about the two-part Career Exploration and Soft Skills course from Burlington English that focuses on student career pathways, 16 career clusters, and how to make informed career and education choices while also developing the essential interpersonal and workplace success skills necessary to succeed in specific careers.

    Audience

    This professional development activity/course is designed for:

  • ESOL teachers and designated individuals interested in learning about the Career Exploration and Soft Skills courses and features available to them in the BurlingtonEnglish platform
  • Teachers preparing learners for IET or IELCE
Description

In this session, Ticiana Coleman, from BurlingtonEnglish, will show you around this two-part course which focuses on career pathways, career clusters, and how to help students make informed career and education choices while also developing essential interpersonal and workplace skills. Participants will learn more about teaching using this Burlington course using the prepared In-class Lessons and the corresponding Student Lessons.
