This professional development activity/course is designed for:
How can ABE/ASE teachers incorporate culturally responsive teaching and learning principles into their ELA practice? You will explore three priorities of culturally responsive teaching and make connections to adult learning theory. In addition, you will analyze a teacher-developed unit plan to see what culturally responsive teaching and learning looks like in action. You will walk away with tools, resources, and a model for using a culturally responsive lens to enrich ELA teaching and learning.
You will receive 1.5 PD hours in LACES upon completion of this session.
