As support staff, your workload includes managing large amounts of student data and communicating regularly with other staff, students, and instructors. This session has been developed based on requests from the field for tools to manage this work, and the tools explored are selected based on your interests and needs.
You will first identify a challenge you are experiencing related to (but not limited to) the following tasks: intake, waitlist management, student records, communications, and student follow-up. Then you will identify a tech tool that can help you address that challenge. Through presentation and small group work, you will have a chance to practice using and applying the tool to your daily tasks. You will walk away with a plan for use, and resources and support to access as you go about implementation.
