Regional facilitated Advisor Sharing Groups are held bi-monthly, to provide advisors with the opportunity to share ideas, best practices, and resources with other advisors. Each meeting will focus on a specific topic, that is selected based on participant interest and need.
Topic: Student Retention and Persistence
How do you keep your students motivated and help them achieve their goals? How do you get students engaged so they participate actively? How do you define student retention and persistence? What do you do or could you do to address the retention and persistence challenges? What could your students do? What outside resources do you use? What other support or resources are needed? What has worked? Come and share your thoughts, tips, and challenges at the sharing group.
