Overview

The Massachusetts Professional Standards for Teachers of Adult ESOL outline what teachers of adult English Language Learners need to know and be able to do. This tutorial, designed for new and veteran teachers as well as ESOL program directors, explores the standards document and the ways it can be used to improve ESOL teaching and learning.

Description

Participants take a private short self-assessment to target areas of strength and weakness, and choose which standards they would like to know more about. Resources for professional development, including SABES workshops, are provided.
