This new online Community of Practice (CoP) is for advisors working in Massachusetts adult education programs. The purpose is to: 

• increase collaboration and networking, 
• share resources and materials, and
• solve tricky situations, together.

The Advising CoP is a Canvas-based discussion platform for advisors in adult education programs in Massachusetts. It includes a resource page and discussion forums that are set up to allow advisors to ask and answer questions, share best practices, share resources, and work through common challenges related to their role. It can be accessed anywhere and anytime by busy advisors looking for support. 

The Advising CoP opens on December 1, 2025, and we need your help to get the conversation started! Join us during Launch Week to introduce yourself, get to know other advisors, and start sharing resources and questions for your colleagues. A group of experienced advisors will be checking in all week to reply to your questions and keep the conversation going.
