Are you looking to connect and learn with other volunteer coordinators? Join us for the Volunteer Coordinators Sharing Group!
The Volunteer Coordinators Sharing Group is a peer-facilitated opportunity for volunteer coordinators and others who work with volunteers to network, share resources and strategies, ask questions, and explore new ideas and practices to strengthen your volunteer program. Each meeting focuses on a specific topic that is relevant to what is happening in your program right now.
This year’s topics include:
- Volunteer recruitment: November 18
- Volunteer onboarding and training: January 13
- Effective volunteer supervision: February 10
- Volunteer recognition and appreciation: April 14
Each meeting includes time for general updates and share-outs as well as a facilitated discussion and resource sharing on the meeting topic. Please come prepared with relevant ideas, questions, and/or resources.
Staff whose work touches on these topics are welcome to attend regardless of their specific title. Participants are encouraged but not required to attend all meetings.
