Part-Time: Contextualized ESOL Instructor ($45/hr)
Brief Job Description:
The Center for Adult Education seeks ESOL instructors to teach contextualized English classes for adult learners. Candidates should know effective ESOL strategies, communicate clearly, differentiate instruction, and create an inclusive, engaging environment that supports student success. Non-credit instructors are hired as needed. Classes are held in person during evening hours at the Lawrence campus.
Experience Required:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Experience teaching adult ESOL, knowledge of language acquisition and inclusive practices, strong communication and technology skills, and the ability to track progress and differentiate instruction.
