Jan Adversario

Bio

Jan Adversario completed his doctoral degree in Adult, Professional, and Community Education from Texas State University.  At present, he is an adult education instructor at Austin Community College where he teaches English as a Second Language (ESL) to adult learners. He also volunteers to teach English at the Asian American Cultural Center in Austin, Texas. Jan has taught in higher education and adult education for 12 years. His research interests include literacy, adult education, second language acquisition, multicultural learning, and experiential learning. He has conducted numerous workshops for education practitioners and has presented his research in various local, state, national, and international conferences.

Adam Kieffer

Bio

Adam Kieffer is an ABE teacher at the Ronald M. Hubbs Center for Lifelong Learning and distance learning coordinator at the St. Paul Public Schools. 

The Hubbs Center is a dynamic adult education facility located in the heart of Saint Paul's Frogtown-Midway communities. In addition to quality classroom instruction, exciting events provide an opportunity for the learners to be encouraged in the pursuit of their own academic and workforce goals.

Bio

Karen Rivas is a member of the Carlos Rosario School Leadership Team and the principal of the Sonia Gutierrez Campus.
