Alexis Cherewka has published articles on adult basic education in peer-reviewed journals such as Adult Education Quarterly and Comparative Education Review, and has co-authored a Migration Policy Institute report on adult education policy. Her background includes teaching English and adult literacy, and supporting teachers in the U.S. and abroad. Alexis has a PhD in life-long learning and adult education from Penn State University.
