Now, more than ever, we need to support caregivers and children by providing opportunities for families to learn together. We know it can be frustrating and overwhelming for adults to be suddenly thrust into the role of a math teacher, and we are committed to providing caregivers with quality materials that will allow families to learn together in fun ways. 

TERC (the home of the SABES Math Center) believes that creativity, play, and socializing are important ingredients in learning just about anything. The Mixing in Math project at TERC has designed materials to put those ingredients into math learning opportunities that can be shared by adults and the kids in their lives. These games, projects, and activities are available for free download and are available in English and Spanish. They are geared toward children in the elementary grades (but older children and adults will also enjoy and find challenge in them).
