The Program Support PD Center team collaborates with ACLS to coordinate access to resources for EnGen.
EnGen offers personalized and sector-specific language instruction for ELLs. General courses include Beginning English, Academic English and Business English courses. In addition, the platform offers 130+ career-aligned courses such as English for Certified Nursing Assistants, Manufacturing: Processes & Production, and English for a Commercial Driver's License.

New in FY24 for Massachusetts! EnGen Admins (not teachers) now have the ability to enroll learners in EnGen directly! There is no need to send ACLS a spreadsheet of learners. Please remember to add student ID numbers from LACES during EnGen enrollment and account creation. Please review this 6 minute video on how to do that and a few other tips on using the Admin Portal.
Please reach out to Linnette (email@example.com), EnGen Liaison to ACLS, directly if you have any needs staff development needs. To reach our Tech Support Team, please email firstname.lastname@example.org
The EnGen Resource Center & Other Resources!
The EnGen Resource Center (ERC) has resources to help teachers and learners get started using EnGen. If you need something specific and do not find it within the portal, please reach out to Linnette. You will find lots of hands-on resources in the Teacher’s Toolbox for those teaching EnGen in a classroom. The EnGen Course List offers an easy reference to all EnGen courses, listing the course level and the number of units and lessons in each course. Program directors will find impact, implementation, marketing and reporting resources to help you set up your program for success.
