Overview

Learn about LaGuardia Community College’s nationally recognized Bridge to College and Careers Program model, curriculum strategies, and successful student outcomes. Trainers from LaGuardia’s College and Career Pathways Institute will provide information about the half-day professional development workshops they are offering for ASE and ESOL instructors in December at two different locations.

Whether or not you are ready to register for a workshop session, we encourage you to attend the informational webinar to learn more about the contextualized curriculum strategies, program model, and outcomes.

Registration for the December workshops will open on October 15th.

    Upon completion of this professional development activity/course, you will be able to:

  • Learn about opportunities to participate in half-day workshop and optional curriculum development coaching and virtual community of practice.
  • Explore LaGuardia’s Bridge to College and Careers Program model
  • Define contextualized instruction
  • Identify contextualization strategies in a sample Bridge lesson
