Part-Time ESOL Teacher
Brief Job Description:
Center for New Americans seeks an ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) teacher for our level 1-3 morning class in Springfield. Classes meet Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday mornings from 9:15 to 11:15. Monday and Thursday classes are online. Tuesday classes are in person. Classes meet September through mid-June. Successful candidates will have experience teaching at the beginner level in person and on Zoom. Teachers work 13.5 hours per week which includes teaching, preparation, and hours.

Experience Required:
Have a TESOL certificate and/or equivalent degree; have experience teaching adult ESOL students in a community-based setting including beginning-level and pre-literate students and experience with differentiation for a range of learners
