Virtual learning has advanced a great deal in recent years, but too often, literacy-level learners are left out of these services because of the challenges associated with teaching them online. This two-session course will equip you with concrete, creative strategies to reach and teach these students successfully in a virtual environment.

The EdTech in Action PD series provides a chance for you to explore and engage with technology while learning how to support your students. Each session introduces a new edtech tool and presents two replicable edtech routines that you can adapt for your classroom or for administrative use to build students' digital skills. In this second session, we will learn about using Google Translate as an instructional tool—not just for the classroom, but for advising meetings and program intake as well.
