This professional development activity/course is designed for:
How can a proficiency assessment help educators better understand where learners are and how to support their continued growth? In this interactive session, participants will explore EnGen’s Proficiency Assessment (PA), an adaptive assessment designed to measure learners’ real-world English proficiency in listening and reading.
Participants will learn how the assessment works, how proficiency levels are determined, and how to interpret overall and skill-specific results. The session will also explore how educators and administrators can use proficiency data along with ongoing learner performance data to understand learner needs, recognize progress, and make informed decisions about instruction and program support.
Attendees will leave with a clearer understanding of the learner assessment experience and practical strategies for turning learner data into meaningful action.
Format & Requirements: This course consists of one synchronous, online session of one hour, with no additional required work.
