Mina served as the director of the Community Learning Center, the comprehensive AE program of the City of Cambridge, for 20 years. For five years, she was the director of the SABES CRC at WEI, where she had a particular focus on educational leadership and inclusive planning processes. She has experience teaching and developing curriculum for ABE, ESOL, and integrated health education and training. She has served on boards, task forces, and committees including the local Workforce Investment Board, a statewide performance accountability work group, and a task force on transition to college for ABE students. She has developed and presented PD on managing change; cross-agency partnerships; teacher supervision and evaluation; administrator self-assessment; student identity development; student leadership; planning for program improvement; and research-based teaching approaches. In addition to her EdD in education, Mina has an MAT in teaching and an MPA in public administration.
