  • ELA and ESOL instructors who want to differentiate reading instruction for their learners
Description

In this session, you'll explore how to use Newsela's leveled content, multimedia resources, and text-adaptation tools to support every student. You'll learn to implement effective scaffolds like read-alouds, vocabulary support, and AI-driven graphic organizers to guide students through complex texts while maintaining rigorous, grade-level learning expectations. You'll also learn how to design diverse assessment opportunities that offer students multiple ways to demonstrate mastery of skills and standards while providing actionable, timely feedback.

Format & Requirements: This course consists of one online synchronous session of 1.5 hours, with no additional required work.
