Brief Job Description:
The Intergenerational Literacy Program (ILP), a program of the Chelsea Public Schools, provides instruction to adults, out-of-school youth, and families. The program offers courses in English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) and preparation for high school equivalency exams (HiSET/GED) in Spanish. Classes are also offered for parents and caregivers who want to improve their reading and writing, and who want to learn how to further support their children in school.

Experience Required:
Bachelor's degree in education or a related field at minimum Experience working in K-12 education, or adult literacy Knowledge of family literacy, ESOL, ABE Proficiency in Spanish, Portuguese, or Arabic preferred
